So don't you think that the government has got good value for money in trusting KCC to improve the High Street. Seems to be about 30 workers, that's about £500,000 in wages for six months, the other £2.2 millions can buy a lot of paving bricks that cost about £10 per sq metre. Some body is making a large profit. And there is more to come the government has enIrusted KCC to spend £500,000 on making the entrance to the railway station look pretty. I assume they mean the road and pavement layout as the station itself was spruced up in 2012. It looks like Tonbridge also has had a luck escape from what was to be giant Sainsbury's supermarket. Sainsbury's is 2 months away from completing a giant in Herne Bay and it is staying closed. Now that will become an eyesore unless they pull it down on the hope of the council allowing housing on he site.
