Judd School Head retiring....
I hear that Robert Masters, Head of Judd School for many years is stepping down. According to a report in the Kent and Sussex Courier recently he seems to have gone soft in his old age as well. The school, it would seem, has relaxed its policy of chucking out poorly performing sixth formers when they don't make the grade in their AS-level exams as many other schools still do, often leaving them high and dry with very little option of where to study next. What an old softy eh! What next? Will they start allowing more students who pass the Kent Test/11+ who live in the town of Tonbridge to attend the only boys grammar in the town? Don't be ridiculous. Now that would be just going too far wouldn't it?..

I know you don't blog often but at least you could keep up with the local news. This was in the Courier last September.
Try to write a positive comment. Go on have a go it's actually quite easy!...
Btw I'm thinking of using the secret device on the blog control panel which allows me to publish all the "anonymous" email addresses!...
Have you been round to the Fire Station all afternoon? Anons don't give email addresses. You are being confused with IP addresses.
Just in case you missed the news the Post office is moving to W H Smith on the 9th of March, I don't want you to hear this in 4 months time! Think of all those extra books they will be selling with the increased footfall and people with 30 mins to spare while they wait for service.
To late to write to your MP to complain.
and, blimey - two posts in a day - time for a lie down?... :-D
It would be even better if they scrapped the 11+ altogether, but I suppose that would put the private schools and private tutors out of business.
Another slow news day! Yawn!
