Tonbridge Street Lighting update....
Credit where it's due. The council(s) seem to have got their act together at last and, from what I can see, all the street lamps at the north end of Tonbridge High Street appear to be in working order. A few weeks ago there were at least seven out. Have the Highways department been reading Tonbridge Blog or something? Whatever the reason we should all be grateful for small mercies. The Christmas lights do look absolutely lovely this year. Not over the top or tacky, but tasteful and just right....

I logged a fault with 9 street lights starting at the KCC library up to Bordyke a month a go. KCC fixed a few and closed the fault, so I rang them and got a new fault logged which has also been closed. I have not been in the town in the dark in the last few days so maybe you can check the ones by the Slug, Subway and the Library.
But if you want a light fixed, a pot hole fixed or have other highways problems just log it at KCC Highways online or ring 08458 247 800, it just wont get fixed by itself.
Back in the town tonight and there are still at least 5 out in the High Street, KCC Library, Bonmache, Parkers Kitchens, Opposite Chequers and opposite Balwins Travel although I think this is one that had been fixed before.
And the fault logs I raised with KCC both say that they have been fixed.
