Let's have more sculptures like this one around Tonbridge....

Without wishing to go all arty on you all, I love the way the morning sun accentuates the colours in this glass sculpture at the entrance to Botany captured, if I say so myself, quite perfectly in this photo taken last week. It'd be great to see more sculptures around the town such as on the roundabouts as you enter Tonbridge. Guy Portelli are you reading this??Suggestions please....

A lot of motorists don't know how to drive properly on roundabouts without the distraction and hindrance to vision putting sculptors on them would have.
The local council is pleading poverty and cant afford Xmas lights and hanging baskets so they wont finance your scheme!

I'm not suggesting that the sculptor Guy Portelli stands eternally in the middle of the roundabout but maybe one of his sculptures! (That was just me being flippant about your wordology Anonymous.)On a serious note, you don't really seriously think that a sculpture of, say Frank Woolley, would cause accidents do you? If that were true then why have Tonbridge and Malling allowed several large installations on the roundabouts right near the Kings Hill council offices? Also, if you've been to Dorking in recent years you'll know that there's a bloody great, shiny, silver cockerel on the main roundabout as you enter the town. And don't get me started on the Angel of the North!...
