And while we're on the subject of books here's a montage (good word that) of my favourite books on Tonbridge. All available in Mr. Books naturally. Don't tell everyone though because there really aren't enough to go round. Neve's 1933 book The Tonbridge of Yesterday, for example, is so scarce that people have been known kill for it!....

Always fascinating. Sometimes I wonder what the history books of the future would be like. Given the fact that there are thousands of digital photographs available of everything nowadays. What kind of media would make todays digital photography look old fashioned, when viewed in say..two hundred years or so...
Of course I've got Steam Scene. What sort of a bookshop would Mr. Books be without that book!
Maybe Tonbridge Blog archives will one day be collectable!
