Where's Humphrey Bean?...

In other news Wetherspoons has reopened so you'll be able to go and get your pint and curry for six quid again. Hopefully without having to wade through two feet of water to the bar!...

Wetherspoons opened last Friday, to be precise. The flood waters only affected the basement, but unfortunately knocked out all the pub's electrical installations. The bar areas were unaffected by flooding.

Have you heard about the government's plans to create two new garden cities? Of course not as the plans are secret but take a look at Yalding Garden City
If this gets the go ahead Yalding can looks forward to millions being spent on flood defences in the area and an upgrade to the Leigh Barrier.

"Yalding Water City" is a new one on me but nothing surprises anymore!

Surely there's enough development going on in the region without concreting over any more of our beautiful countryside?

We had all this before with that fat oaf Prescott and his Thames Gateway project. Now it seems Call Me Dave wants to desecrate even more of the South East, no doubt to house the illegal immigrants that are flocking to our shores.
