Will it be 1987 Storms all over again?....
Let's hope not but it could be time to batten down the hatches if weather reports are anything to go by. Are you listening Michael Fish?! Bob Ogley, who found fame by writing In the Wake of the Hurricane and many other Kent history books, will have his pen at the ready!...

Bob Ogley must be getting on a bit now, and Michael Fish's gaffe didn't do him any harm in the long term.
All the same, hope the storm misses us. It's something we could all do without!
It's known as "covering your arse". Even a whiff of a breeze will be promoted to a hurricane. You never know.
It could also be construed as "Crying wolf"; if nothing much happens that is!
Well it did keep me up at night but probably only because of all the media hype getting me worried. As I recall I slept right through the 1987 storms despite the fact that half the roof tiles of my house were missing by the morning!...
