Accidents waiting to happen....
The lack of a pelican crossing at the top of Quarry Hill, near the bus stops, where countless school children cross a busy road every day is an accident waiting to happen. There are probably many other examples (and please do post them as comments) but this is an urgent requirement. I sent an email about this matter to Councillor Godfrey Horne, the Tonbridge representative on Kent County Council around ten weeks ago and to date he has not even bothered to reply, let alone do anything about it. What's the cost of a crossing? About £30k apparently; what price a child's life?...
